Corruble & daughters
Born in Patteville, Christophe inherited this large, green estate from his parents. With his wife Fabienne, he made it his family home over 40 years ago. Today, they have left it to their two daughters, Margaux and Diane, the chalet they share with you when they're not relaxing with their spouses and children. Because "Un chalet en Normandie" is above all a story of the heart, handed down from generation to generation. The proof is in the grandchildren, who already love spending their holidays there!
History of place
Homemade Sweet Home
Nowhere is "homemade" more aptly named than when you build your own home! Here in Sauqueville, the 'homemade' adventure began in 2008 with the delivery of 4 semi-trailers loaded with numbered wooden parts, which we had to assemble following step-by-step instructions from the Finnish builder specialising in 'kit' houses, from whom we had purchased the house.
Foundations, house assembly, roofing, plumbing and electrical systems, finishing touches, fittings... after a year's work and many twists and turns, "a chalet in Normandy" was born! A reliable construction, which, for its 16th birthday in July 2025, boasted energy performance worthy of a new build (C/A rating).
